Material Spotlight: Picasso Ivory Travertine
For the sun-drenched shores of Anguilla, the client selected Picasso Ivory Travertine. This stone is highly valued for its light, creamy tones and its natural ability to stay cool under the Caribbean sun, making it the perfect choice for high-end island architecture.
- Main Application: 470 m² of Filled & Honed Picasso Ivory tiles. The honed finish provides a smooth, matte texture that is elegant yet practical for indoor-outdoor transitions.
- Outdoor & Pool Integration: To create a seamless flow from the resort to the water, Mekmar supplied 90 m² of heavy-duty pavers and 55 linear meters (lmt) of custom pool coping.

One of the standout achievements of the Vallinis Project was the rapid turnaround time. Mekmar’s advanced manufacturing facility produced five different custom sizes of travertine to meet the specific architectural needs of the resort.
